U2, U5, and U8 lines will take you to Alexanderplatz station. From there walk to S+U Alexanderplatz Bhf/Gontardstraße tram station and take the M5 tram line and get off at the Spandauer Str./Marienkirche station. Head northeast on Karl-Liebknecht-Str./B2/B5 till you reach the Illuseum Berlin.

Use the S-Bahn line to go to the Berlin Alexanderplatz Bahnhof if you have access to it. You can then travel 75 meters northwest on Gontardstraße/Panoramastraße in the direction of Karl-Liebknecht-Str./B2/B5. Proceed to Karl-Liebknecht-Str./B2/B5, make a left turn, and proceed to the Illuseum Berlin by using the crosswalk.

Bus lines 100, 200, or 300 will all take you to Spandauer Str./Marienkirche which is the closest stop. From there head northeast on Karl-Liebknecht-Str./B2/B5 till you reach the Illuseum Berlin.
