Not just another aquarium. Seaworld Abu Dhabi combines marine life and education with a pinch of adventure. Eight themed marine realms are designed to transport you either to the hidden cove set in USA’s rugged Pacific Northwest to encounter sea lions and feed them or deep below the surface and make you question everything you knew about the ocean.
But this isn’t all Seaworld offers, immersive rides and rollercoasters let you explore the ocean in a whole new way turning learning much more exciting. The Manta Coaster is a featured ride known for its zero gravity flip, 17 airtime movements and finally plunging inside a bioluminescent tunnel exhibiting Ray Reef’s marine life.
The Yas Island attraction was inaugurated on 23 May and is developed by Miral Destinations, the creator of other theme parks such as Ferrari World, Warner Bros, and Yas Waterworld on Yas Island. The vision behind this Marine Life Theme Park is to uncover the kinship between land and water, driving the message of conservation.
Home to the largest and most extensive multi-species marine life aquarium, the park spans five levels and hosts a 58 million litre water tank accommodating 150 unique marine creatures. Additionally, it is also home to the first marine research, rescue, rehabilitation, and return care centre in Abu Dhabi.
Immersive Realms
Discover different species of penguins, rescued dugongs, swirling schooling fish, sand tiger sharks, crustaceans and so many more! Each realm takes you to a specific habitat like the Artic with its seasonal temperatures and light cycles or the tropical ocean filled with vivid fish and flamingos. Prepared to be amazed as you climb kelp or dip underwater in the plunge jellyfish.
Each realm has various live performances including a larger-than-life tree frog, lost explorers wandering and asking questions in a comedic skit, camel puppets, and even a pearl diving show!
Besides shows and tanks and adorable sea creatures, there are thrilling yet family-friendly rides for all. Zoom across the ocean like an octopus, then glide like a sea turtle, plunge up and down like a jellyfish, the opportunities and experiences are endless. You are guaranteed to feel one with the ocean when the day ends.

Seaworld Expeditions

Important Information
Parking is available for guests
Outside food and beverages are not permitted (except for baby formula and for medical reasons)
Smoking is prohibited aside from the designated areas
Entering any water body, feeding, throwing any items, or touching the animal without the consent of an authorised representative of the Park, is strictly prohibited
Certain rides contain bright lighting effects that flash or strobe. Avoid if you have sensitivity to these conditions or a history of photosensitive epilepsy.
Some activities are not included in the general admission ticket and must be purchased separately
How To Reach Seaworld
Location: Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
If you’re staying at any of Yas Island hotels, you can enjoy the free Yas Express shuttle service connecting all main attractions through designated bus stops.
Buses run daily from Dubai and Abu Dhabi for ticket holders of any park in Yas Island. You can check the schedule here
Guests are required to show their Seaworld E-tickets in order to board the bus.
