Souk Shopping
One of Madinat Jumeirah’s most fascinating attractions is unquestionably retail therapy.
This souk remains true to its Arabic heritage while simultaneously incorporating modern touches all around offering a maze of alleys to wander around, multiple dining options including retro-themed options as well as traditional Greek tzatziki and galleries peeking over the water.
Take back a finely woven shawls from the pride of Kashmir, 3D models of some of the greatest architectural marvels, high-end boutique garments and so much more.
But the best part is the nightlife, lanterns glow and music thrums all around.
The Souk is open all week, year-round, with its shops open from 10 AM to 11 PM and its restaurants from 8 AM to 2 AM.
Indulge In Fine Dining
The restaurants at Souk Madinat Jumeirah offer a wide variety of different cuisines to satiate everyone’s appetite. The historic setting, which seamlessly incorporates history and modernity, offers a charming backdrop to these dining establishments.

Sail through the winding rivers in one of those traditional Emirati boats to explore the souk’s wonderful intricacies. The five-kilometre voyage will be made even more exciting by the navigator of the abra, who will give fascinating details about the location and the amenities nearby.

AED 100 per adult and AED 50 per child for a full abra tour.
AED 50 per adult and AED 50 per child for the Burj View abra tour.

Madinat Theatre
Nestled right in the heart of the bustling souk, the theatre has enough space to hold up 440 spectators. The Madinat Theatre presents a variety of entertaining entertainment, such as stand-up comedy, British pantomimes, Russian ballets, and toe-tapping musicals.
How to Get There
The Souk Madinat Jumeirah lies south of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai’s Jumeirah district.
Take the metro to the Mall of the Emirates station and catch a cab or one of the regular buses that run to the souk.
