From the history of Guinness to the brewing process, interactive exhibits, and a stunning rooftop bar with panoramic views of Dublin, the Guinness Storehouse has something to delight every visitor.

A Legacy of Craftsmanship

The story of Guinness dates back to 1759 when Arthur Guinness signed a 9,000-year lease for a small brewery at St. James’s Gate in Dublin. Little did he know that this humble beginning would give birth to one of the world’s most renowned beer brands. The Guinness Storehouse is located on the same historic site where Arthur Guinness brewed his first batch over two and a half centuries ago.

The Brewing Process Unveiled

As visitors step into the Guinness Storehouse, they embark on a captivating journey through the brewing process. Each floor of the Storehouse is dedicated to a different aspect of the brewing process, starting from the raw ingredients used in making the legendary stout to the intricate fermentation and maturation stages.

One of the highlights is the “Tasting Laboratory,” where guests can engage their senses and experience the distinct flavors and aromas that make Guinness so special. Learn about the meticulous selection of barley, hops, water, and yeast that go into each batch, ensuring that every pint of Guinness is crafted to perfection.

A Multi-Sensory Experience

The Guinness Storehouse is more than just a museum; it’s an interactive experience that engages visitors on multiple levels. Throughout the self-guided tour, interactive exhibits, videos, and displays create an immersive atmosphere, making learning about the beer’s history and the art of brewing an enjoyable adventure.

On the fourth floor, “The Guinness Academy” provides visitors with the opportunity to learn the art of pouring the perfect pint. Under the guidance of expert bartenders, you can master the two-part pour and witness the iconic creamy head take shape, just as it should be served.

A Toast to the City: The Gravity Bar

At the pinnacle of the Guinness Storehouse experience lies the Gravity Bar, a stunning glass-enclosed space with 360-degree views of Dublin‘s skyline. Perched atop the seventh floor, this bar is the perfect place to savor the fruits of your newfound knowledge.
