Cable cars depart every 20 minutes, or when the maximum capacity of 65 people is reached
It takes 3 minutes to reach the top of the first mountain, Morro da Urca, and an additional 3 minutes to reach the summit

- By Metro
You can take the Metro to the Botafogo station and from there walk to the cable car entrance.
- By Bus
Bus number 511 (look for the sign “Ataulfo de Paiva”) and 512 (sign will say “Bartholomeu Mitre”) can both get you there. Payment accepted is cash and no change will be given.
- By Taxi/Car
Taxi is the most convenient option. The nearest parking is Estacionamento from where it is a short walk.
