The Towering Tank
Home to 300 sharks and rays, this tank gives visitors an idea of the adventures the aquarium holds inside. You can stand and photograph yourself next to sharks and a myriad of other vibrant marine creatures. 51 meters vast and 11 meters high, it is truly a sight to behold.
The Trancelike Tunnel
A 48-meter-long walk 11 meters under the tank towards the underwater zoo lets you explore these fascinating creatures from 270 degrees. If you have ever wondered what it is like to walk under the ocean, here’s your chance.
Underwater zoo at Dubai Aquarium
If you think you’ve seen it all, then you’re mistaken because the underwater zoo has river creatures like crabs, turtles, and eels to name a few. Divided into three categories each explore a different ecological zone of marine life.
- Rainforest
Situated along the banks of the river in a rainforest, this exhibit houses freshwater animals such as perky otters and savage piranhas. Going to the Amazon may be farfetched so they bring the daydream to you!
- Rocky Shore
For the tough souls, where the land meets the sea only the strongest can thrive. If you feel daunting enough, you can reach out to touch clams and oysters.
- Living Ocean
Deep under the sea, the inhabitants here are as vicious as the tide. Look out for deadly jellyfish and sea dragons.
