Miracle Garden
Dubai Miracle Garden: the choral Notes of Floral Dubai

Shifting from skyscrapers and luxury malls, the charm of Dubai isn’t all concrete walls. The Dubai Miracle Garden is an example of exquisite horticulture in the middle of a desert. A combination of over 250 million plants and over 45 million flowers, it is the world’s largest natural flower garden and spans 72,000 square meters.

A three-time Guinness World Record holder for the largest vertical garden, largest floral installation in the world, and lastly the tallest topiary-supported sculpture in the whole world. It is no secret that this little piece of Eden has won hearts across the globe.

Winter Wonderland

Only the winter months of UAE, from November to March, are when Dubai Miracle Garden is open. This is due to Dubai’s year-round heat waves, which make visiting an outdoor facility quite unpleasant. This is excellent for people who want to enjoy their winter vacation while escaping the severe frost in Western countries. Adding onto the appeal, the decor and structure of the park follow a theme every year, which implies that this horticultural sight is different every season, adding it to the must-visit list time after time.

Eco-friendly irrigation technique

Flowers are preserved by reusing wastewater through drip irrigation. The unique sub-surface irrigation system prevents evaporation that saves up to 75% of water and energy is what really makes this monument stand out. Daily maintenance on the garden uses 757,000 liters of water. Due to this effective setup, the cost of desalination of water from the Gulf Sea has drastically been reduced.

A true testament of innovation

From a massive replica of an Emirates A380 to a fully functional 15-meter-wide clock, all created with real flowers, the botanical park is spectacular in every sense of the world.

The team behind these sculptures’ innovation and dedication know no bounds, and the Floral Clock is a prime example of this. The mechanical components of this stunning clock, which is 15 meters wide and constructed completely of real flowers and plants, were imported from the US. What makes the Floral Clock so great? According to the season, the clock’s design and flowers are changed.

Moreover, the sanctuary is also home to the region’s first indoor butterfly garden and sanctuary, Dubai Butterfly Garden, which is open all year round. In case you miss the wonders of Miracle Garden, your trip is still memorable by witnessing 15,000 butterflies representing 50 distinct species in ten climate-controlled domes where you can enjoy seeing them in their natural habitat. Launched in 2015, two years after the inauguration of Miracle Garden, gives people the opportunity to observe the stunning development from egg to caterpillar to pupa and eventually a vibrant flying butterfly.

Dubai, known for doing the seemingly impossible, has established yet another standard with the appropriately named Miracle Garden. A perfect experience away from other indoor options Dubai tourism offers.
